Torbreck Vintners is a premium Barossa Valley winery founded by David Powell, specializing in old-vine Rhône-style wines including Shiraz, Grenache, and Mataro. Known for flagship wines like RunRig and The Laird, it was independently owned until 2008 when it was acquired by American entrepreneur Pete Kight. The winery sources grapes from some of the oldest vineyards in the Barossa, with vines dating back to the 1840s.
